The Michigan Batbusters have a long history as one of the premier fastpitch organizations in Michigan.
Started in 2003 as a single age group team, the first Batbusters team went on to win 9 "A" State Championships (ASA, NSA, and USSSA), numerous top "A" tournaments throughout the Mid-West, and many top finishes at "A" World Series, all against the toughest competition in the Nation. This group of players won over 75% of all their games played.
Over the years the team traveled to play against the best competition at events in not only Michigan, but also in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Texas, Colorado, and Kansas
The players from the first Michigan Batbusters team graduated from High School in the years 2007, 2008 and 2009.
16 players from the first Michigan Batbusters team went on to gain College Scholarships (70% at Division 1 schools) to continue playing the sport they loved, while gaining a tremendous education.
This “original” group of Michigan Batbusters paved the way through their success for the next generation of Michigan Batbusters who are currently carrying on the tradition of excellence for many future generations of “Batbusters”
